Job Description:
Supply Chain Manager
Location: Lagos
Type: Full-time
Experience: 3-5 years
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring seamless flow from farms to customers. Build and maintain relationships with farmers across Nigeria, optimize inventory levels, and coordinate with logistics partners.
- Develop and maintain farmer network across Nigerian states
- Forecast demand and manage inventory planning
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers
- Monitor supply chain performance and optimize costs
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards
- Coordinate with quality assurance and logistics teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Agriculture, or related field
- 3+ years experience in supply chain or agricultural sector
- Knowledge of Nigerian agricultural markets
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and inventory management systems
Quality Assurance Specialist
Location: Lagos/Abuja
Type: Full-time
Experience: 2-4 years
Ensure all produce meets Ojaa’s quality standards through systematic inspection, testing, and quality control processes. Develop quality guidelines and train farmers on best practices.
- Inspect incoming produce for quality, freshness, and safety
- Develop and implement quality control procedures
- Train farmers on post-harvest handling and quality standards
- Conduct regular farm visits and audits
- Document quality metrics and generate reports
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Agriculture, or related field
- Experience in food quality control or agricultural inspection
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to travel t farms across Nigeria
Coordinate delivery operations across Nigerian cities, ensuring timely and safe delivery of fresh produce. Manage relationships with delivery partners and optimize delivery routes.
- Plan and coordinate daily delivery schedules
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers
- Track shipments and resolve delivery issues
- Optimize delivery routes for cost and efficiency
- Monitor delivery performance metrics
- Handle customer delivery inquiries and complaints
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Operations, or related field
- 2+ years experience in logistics or delivery operations
- Knowledge of Nigerian transportation networks
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in logistics management software
Warehouse/Fulfillment Associate
Location: Lagos/Abuja
Type: Full-time
Experience: 1-2 years
Handle day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, and packing orders. Ensure proper handling of fresh produce to maintain quality.
- Receive and inspect incoming produce shipments
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately
- Maintain cold storage and handling equipment
- Update inventory management systems
- Follow food safety and hygiene protocols
- SSCE/OND minimum qualification
- Experience in warehouse or food handling operations
- Physical ability to lift and move produce
- Basic computer skills for inventory systems
